Based on the game show "Whee Of Fortune". Larry Edmur is the current host for the Aussie version, so you know. Sorry, no mp3 this time.
I dreamed last night
I was on the Wheel Of Fortune
And I'd figured
Out what all those blank squares said
And so I stood
And I hollered,
"Hey, the phrase is..."
And Larry Emdur, he wished I was dead
The audience all said "Shaddup!
Shaddup, and wait for your turn!"
Audience said "Shaddup!
Shaddup, and wait for your turn!"
And the other contestants joined in
Man, I swear they wanted my ears to burn
"Shaddup! Shaddup! Shaddup! Shaddup!"
"Shaddup, and wait for your turn!"
I had to wait for my turn on Wheel Of Fortune
And some loser
Lost a hundered thousand bucks
And there I stood
Yelling "Man, that guy's a moron!"
But the audience thought I was a shmuck
The audience all said "Shaddup!
Or we, all beyond a doubt"
Audience all said "Shaddup!
Shaddup! Or we'll kick you out!"
I thought that they all were just kidding
But they weren't, 'cause their faces looked so stern
"Shaddup! Shaddup! Shaddup! Shaddup!
Shaddup, and wait for your turn!
And as I ran
From those guys of Wheel Of Fortune (AAAAUUUGGGHHH!!!)
(Gasp!) Old Larry said that I'd won the big grand prize!
And as I danced
And I hollered "Yeah! Yeah, baby!"
My dream phased into the game
Jeapordy!
The audience still yelled "Shaddup!
Shaddup, and wait for your turn!"
Don Pardo said "Shaddup!
Shaddup, and wait for your turn!"
And Art Fleming joined in the yelling
I don't think that they'll ever show concern
"Shaddup! Shaddup! Shaddup! Shaddup!
Shaddup, and wait for your turn!
(Repeat various bits of "Shaddup, and wait for your turn!")

If you know the OS, you'll understand what that last bit's about (the bit in brackets).

I don't know the original song, but I am familliar with most of the songs from Guys and Dolls. Next, try a parody on the same subject with songs from The Pajama Game or Damn Yankees.
Conqueror...you've outdone yourself, and created a great parody outside of your comfort zone. So three big cheers for you, matey! And three 5's as well...
DKTOS, but it looks very good from what I read, 555.
(Parody challenge) You did what you could with this one.
a great job with a dodgy song.
(Parody Challenge) I know the OS -- clever dream-sequencing here, with good rhymes and creative comic-effect spelling.
(parody challenge) Tomario: waddya mean, dodgy song? :-) Great job, bob, on a song you were unfamiliar with

(Great Parody Challenge) Hahaha, it's a good thing then that the people on game shows can't hear me when I yell at the TV! I never, ever pictured you doing show tunes, but you pulled this off very well, Pieman.
Yeah, you didn't have a lot to work with here IMO, but I give you props for going way outside what you probably would chose as parody material and for making it work. Funny work pieman.
(PC) firstly, LOL to matthias's comment - and Larry's already overhuge smile would get even huger if he read this, bobpie - as Jack said, not a lot to work with, but you did it beautifully - 555
Vanna, pick me a letter! Good job with the song. Almost as hard as mine =)
