Parody Song Title:

"Suspicious Mimes"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

They're not into yap
They can't talk out
They flutter gloves to 'muse ya, baby

Why can't you see
What they're doin' to me
When they don't repeat a word I say

Grease-painted throngs of clever ---
--- and suspicious mimes (suspicious mimes)

Them freak-hand-skilled ar-ti-i-istes
Are suspicious mimes

Once, when an old friend I know,
Waved "hi" to say hello,
We were suddenly surrounded by mimes

Wildly they began
Waving white-gloved hands
Silently dri-ving us out of our minds

Grease-painted throngs of clever ---
--- and suspicious mimes (suspicious mimes)

Hand-speakin' skilled ar-ti-i-istes
With suspicious smiles

Those leather gloves of white
Are pryin' tears from your eyes
Bet you heard the goon think, "Cry!"

When money you throw
They'll never say "thank you"

Rude, yeah, yeah!

They're not into yap
They can't talk out
They hustle bucks from losers, baby

Why can't you see
What they do is creepy
And they won't repeat a word you say

Grease-painted throngs of clever ---
--- and suspicious mimes (suspicious mimes)

They're speak-less skilled ar-ti-i-istes
Those suspicious mimes

Warning: this parody is not for the Soft and Weak of meter. People often ask me, "How do you get chickens to march?" Now I will tell them, "Study Johnny D!"

This is now officially the A-mime-right theme of the week. And for Rick C: Wasn't there a group called Quiet Riot in the 80s?

DKTOS, but mimingly ammusing.

Great play off the OS, JD. One of my fav Elvis tunes.Mimes are quite suspicious. I suspect you'll be gettin' some fives from me.555 Alvin, LOL at your comment.

Mimes don't scare me, I just trap them in invisible boxes. Another excellent parody of mime... uh, yours.

An art form I never really "got"... seemed more like a party game -"Charades". Funniest part of Mel Brooks' not-so-great "Silent Movie" was that the only word spoken in it was spoken by a mime -- Marcel Marceau, I think. Read my lips: (five)

It's a silent classic. And that reminds me, I gotta do my parody on this song. 555s
YAD - April 13, 2006 - Report this comment
555. Mimes are silent, do you reckon Britney would make a good career switch if she became a mime?

PS (Michael talks too loud for a mime ;-) )

You have reminded me I have something on the drawing board for this one... nice one, JD :-)

Thanks Stuart, Larry, YAD, and Philbo.
Michael Pacholek - April 14, 2006 - Report this comment
YAD: I'm not sure it would be a good switch for Britney, she'd probably mess that up too. But it would be the perfect switch for her husband! Why is she with him, anyway? Does she really want eight kids? (The U.S. tabloids are sure that a second is on the way... which would be at least a fourth for him.)
PMS - April 14, 2006 - Report this comment
This left me speachless.

(SOTM) Oh yeah! Cum on Feel the Noize! Wait, there isn't any noise. Sorry, my bad! ;) This was hilarious, man! Ironically, words cannot decribe how funny this parody is. And I agree, mimes are creepy, and I used to do pantamime stuff in my high school acting class. Mimes have really set themselves up for ridicule. BTW, whatever hapened to Sheilds and Yarnell? 555

SOTM - It looks like the two of us are covering both ends of a scale here, you're nailing the species that always give us the silent treatment, and I the one most men wish would more often. :-)

Red Ant - May 23, 2006 - Report this comment
(SOTM) I thought I read this before and commented, but I see I've been silent up until now. This reminds me of a (I think it was) COPS episode where they were playing a prank on a junior officer, by calling in a mime as a perp. I suppose technically you have to read everyone their rights, though telling a mime "you have the right to remain silent" was..... ;-).
