"The Book of Words"

Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

The book of words that I devised:
small book that's 5 x 8-sized.

The book I erged*
contains a lot of words that
I crafted day by day.
All of the files were merged,
and then I shipped them away

The project, hardly a bold move,
but I got in the groove.
I was motivated,
waited not on the move,
but had nothing to prove.

And now my book of words
is on a place
where delivery's a race:

It’s a website
that’s gone from just a startup
to something gigantic.
I signed a contract vow;
Amazon did the trick.

My project’s hardly a bold move,
but I got in the groove.
It originated
when I started to move
fingers on keyboard’s grooves.

Done in my home,
all on my own.
It ain’t no tome.

*from "erg," unit of work or energy
