Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"Dee Kelley, Jimmy, and Gene"

Parody Written by:

Johnny D

( --- woodwind & violin intro --- )

(Has) Anybody here
Seen my old friend Dee Kelley?

Can you tell me where he's gone?

He healed (a) lot of people
With his beamin' good ray-light-gun

You know, I just looked around and he's gone

( *** harp glissando ***)

Anybody here
Seen my old friend Gene?

Can you tell me where he's gone?

He pleased (a) lot of people
With his dream of good days to come

I just looked around and he's gone

( --- organ & guitar instrumental --- )

(Hey) Anybody here
Seen my old friend Jimmy?

Can you tell me where he's gone?

He beamed (a) lot of people
And on green whiskey he got drunk

I just looked 'round and he's gone

( --- cymbal flourish --- )

Didn't you love the dreams that they stood for?
Didn't they spy a future good for you and me
When Earth is free
Some day, Earth -- ain't gonna be alone, and --

Anybody here
Seen my old friend Jeffrey?

He played Pike when Trek was green

I thought I saw him warping out over the stars

With Dee Kelley, Jimmy, and Gene

( *** harp glissando ***)

Way to fill the fourth spot with Jeffrey Hunter, who preceded all of them.

Deep and moving, Johnny. I loved the Pike episode, when Spock hijacked the Enterprise. High 5's

Well done, Johnny. I understand they want to launch Jimmy's remains into space. I hope he and Will Shatner made up before the end. Silly memory. My wife and I were on a virtual ride in the Empire State Building with good old Scotty at the helm. He will be missed.

I must say, as an aside, that there are very few parodies in which one is likely to use the term "harp glissando." 555
