Parody Song Title:

"Who'll Eat The Chrain?"

Parody Written by:

MasonR

Chrain (the "ch" is pronounced like a hard "h". Like "Chanukah") is the Yiddish word for horseradish, a part of the Passover Seder ritual, usually served ground or shredded--somewhat weaker than in its original, supersharp solid form. But some folks take this custom a bit too far...
Each year at the seder, my family comes round
Most folks eat horseradish in vinegar and ground
We keep one thick chunk out, trying to trick someone
And I wonder, we all wonder, who'll eat the chrain?

Will it be my cousin, with tastebuds shy and meek?
Uncle Josh won't touch it, he'd cry for a week
Grandma Beth would try, but she might get chest pains
And I wonder, we all wonder, who'll eat the chrain?

Heard my poppa prayin', kids asked questions four
Bitter herbs I'm eating, but I'm needing more
I take a bite--head's burning. I cry tears of pain.
Why'd I do it? I'm a sucker. I ate the chrain.

Thanks Johnny. How long were the April 7 parodies up? I didn't see them at all on the 7th. Maybe I should repost this.
