At the hotel there was kindness and a swell crowd
Consolation from that odd few now forgotten
Yellow spiders Wait on websites in the archives
Now I'm closing all my windows shutdown good-byes

Cant sleep any place with the sight I found

I see we've been to the same gas stations... "smell of diesel" and "roaches run from themselves" were great subs and nailed the imagery. Gas: $5.55/gal. Ann Hammond: 555 Gal.

Thanks alvin,TT, Michael C, and John L. This is probably my favorate parody so far. I love rock and was singing this as I wrote it. This did end up well constructed with references from the os, I did nail the imagery, and lots of people can relate to the subject. I'm glad I can share this with you and others

This would be great playing in the background of one of those hand sanitizer commercials. The line about the roaches plays, the bottle of sanitizer passes across the screen; the roaches turn into psychedeilc butterflies and flutter off. Great play on the OS.
