Original Performer:

Parody Song Title:

"Reign Propped Up: Corrupt Saud Dickheads"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

Reign propped up: corrupt Saud dickheads,
In this dusty desert sty where much terror is bred.
Seems that doesn't fit.
He keeps that reign propped up; there's no oil if it's fallin'.

Well, his dad had done some talkin' to the son
And said, "You gotta learn how our family gets things done—
Sleepin on the job."
He kept that reign propped up; there's no oil if it's fallin'.

There's not much the son knows.
This boob's stented Svengali is the real chief,
Who's mostly wrong and says, "I won't let facts defeat me."

Reign propped up: corrupt Saud dickheads,
House of Bush and House of Saud share the same filthy bed,
Lyin' constantly.
'Cause they're gonna be a bane as long as they're reigning.
There's still Jeb B.,
And that's worryin' me.

You've got a knack for rhyming almost subliminally with the original song's sounds, JB...heh heh! 5's

Thanks, Phil, JD. Kristof, I'd planned to include in my "reign" suite "Reign decays the money supply—it's way down," a Carpenters takeoff, but I never got past the title. Ash, in a good way, I hope.

You might want to check out "Yellow Snow Regime." This is the best "Raindrops" parody yet, better even than my "Vain Slobs Keep Pourin' On Their Head." (Gimme a break, with the Red Sox probably winning the World Series tonight, I'll shamelessly plug any of my parodies! But this one's great.)

Michael, I checked it out--very good!

Pacing's good but not perfect and some of the rhymes need creative pronounciation to fit each other. Not bad but I've seen better parodies to this song. Philbo's "Brain glops keep falling from my head" comes to mind as one that really made me LOL.
