Song Parodies -> I Farted and Smoke. . . .
| Original Song Title: | "I Started a Joke" |
| Original Performer: | Bee Gees |
| Parody Song Title: | "I Farted and Smoke. . . ." |
| Parody Written by: | John A. Barry |
I farted, and smoke emitted; folks started dying,
Metaphorically. Folks were glaring at me, uh oh!
They started to cry, as if in a riot's gassing—
So bad, they couldn't see to hit, kick, or poke me.
Gas rose to the sky, hitting some ducks, just flying by.
Then they fell down, dead, landing on heads that were not shielded.
Well, I just couldn't hide my shame, so I started leaving.
But before I could flee, they held down and smoked me.
