Just a thought. Just a random thought.... ; - )
You write parodies
Just as you please
Politic'ly tease!
I go look to vote
Know that I would:
Comment if I could
Comments disabled -- my frustration now knows no bound
Bastardize my fave songs and I can't even call you a hound!

You speak your mind free
But don't permit
Response to it
No comments allowed:
I cannot vent
Any dissent
You write ev'ry week -- at our govr'ment you're thumbing your nose
I'd promise my votes if my comments you'd let me enclose!

Please give it a go
Give me a chance
Change that pref'rence!
And so in closing
Know that I would
Comment if I could

Hi confused! I was inspired to do this one because I went to vote on someone's parody, but could not put in a 'comment' as said person had them disabled - I ended up not voting. The comment I had intended to write was neither postive nor negative, but simply to point out that the parody author had credited the _writer_ of the original song as the artist, instead of the singer who made the song popular... But as the song was one of my all-time favorites and was used for political views that oppose mine, I couldn't resist the 'hound' dig! :-D
