Song Parodies -> "SCUM"

Original Song Title:

"SCUD"

Original Performer:

Robert D. Arndt Jr.

Parody Song Title:

"SCUM"

Parody Written by:

John A. Barry

The Lyrics

S, for Solanas, who shot Andy,
C is for crazy as crazy could be,
U’s for unhinged lady with a past that’s shady,
M’s for “manifesto”; from this word has “man” egressed? No!

And then she shot the albino.

“SCUM” was the book showing her worldview,
SCUM was a movement that was cuckoo.
Dudes! Why did god make ’em?!
So her crusade was to break ’em.
“SCUM” had readers?! Quite a few.

S is for sixties and its crazies,
C’s for cutting up men, a disease,
U’s unhinged Valerie—shot him in gallery,
M’s for men, adored not; all should be scored, bored, and cored.

And before long she was ignored.

SCUM was the movement of her warped crew,
SCUM showed how tight she was wrapped—not too.
Dude who helped to make ’er:
Girodias, the book-maker.
“SCUM” had readers?! That’s cuckoo!

SCUM’s what prompted Valerie to shoot
the artist who painted Campbell’s soup.
Even though she hit him,
his life simply didn’t quit him.
SCUM, a 15-minute coup.

An obvious choice, but well done-555! My next one is also obvious based on a Third Reich weapon ;-)

JAB and Rob - Yet another volley. I'm getting a tennis fan stiff neck from following this. Didn't Wagner immortalize this as "The Ride Of The Valaries"? ;D
