The Lyrics

Pantha (as Sekhmet) lived in Ancient Egypt and was High Proestess to the God RA who favored her and gave her divine powers. She had the ability to morph into a panther at will and to fight evil. But when famine came to Egypt she abused her powers and went hunting Egyptian men, women, and even children. For this she became cursed to wander the earth eternally and is pursed by all manner of evil from each time period. She has the ability to morph from human to half-human to full panther and retains a sacred scarab necklace that many have tried to obtain for occult use- including the Nazis that sent the Ahnenerbe and SS Werewolves (real werwolves and not partisans) to hunt her and kill her. She defeated them and many demons from the pit of hell. Always attempting to redeem herself, she eventually made friends with Vampirella and fights evil from the shadows of the night...
Shadows, Shadows
Beware of the Pantha

Shadows, Shadows
Beware of the Pantha

Pantha!
Sekhmet
Pantha!
Sekhmet
Pantha!
Sekhmet
Pantha!
Served RA!

Ancient Egypt she was deity
High Priestess that served RA eternally
Could change into a panther and stalk prey
Famine had caused bloodlust gone astray

RA brought her down, brought her down, down
Goddess with no crown, she was cast out

[Chorus]
Now she prowls the wide earth, because she is thus cursed
She devours evil, Pantha‘s hungry
Now she prowls the wide earth, because she is thus cursed
She devours evil, Pantha‘s hungry

Shadows, Shadows
Beware of the Pantha

Shadows, Shadows
Beware of the Pantha

Pantha!
Sekhmet
Pantha!
Sekhmet
Pantha!
Sekhmet
Pantha!
Served RA!

Demons she tears apart easily
Even Nazi Werewolves had given way
Hitler ordered them to kill her, SS men
Tried to take her sacred scarab away

RA brought her down, brought her down, down
Goddess with no crown, she was cast out

Now she prowls the wide earth, because she is thus cursed
She devours evil, Pantha‘s hungry
Now she prowls the wide earth, because she is thus cursed
She devours evil, Pantha‘s hungry

Shadows, Shadows
Beware of the Pantha

Shadows, Shadows
Beware of the Pantha

[Bridge]
Sekhmet was once a Goddess,
But she committed offense
High Priestess, animal wretch, wanders through time
But in the spiritual sense
From dark evil she protects
To the rescue in defense,
Springs into action, acts divine

Lurks in the shadows,
Pouncing on all evil beings that pursue
Underworld hates you,
Pantha is the huntress that seeks good
That seeks good

Now she prowls the wide earth, because she is thus cursed
She devours evil, Pantha‘s hungry
Now she prowls the wide earth, because she is thus cursed
She devours evil, Pantha‘s hungry

Shadows, Shadows
Beware of the Pantha

Shadows, Shadows
Beware of the Pantha

Pantha!
Sekhmet
Pantha!
Sekhmet
Pantha!
Sekhmet
Pantha!
Served RA!
