The Lyrics

From bad kids to bad dogs...
[Intro-spoken]
We don’t care what breeders say, we know the truth
Enough is enough of this dog sh-t
So I have a mean streak, I was bred to be in captivity
I don't care if I don't measure up to the AKC

I’m a dog, I’m bred to fight and that's my job
I’m a pit, rip other dogs to pieces but wish I could quit
I’m all game, I go crazy on a rampage, no, I'm not tame
My owners cried because they got arrested- they ruined their own lives

[Chorus]
I’m a bad dog, a fighting canine
Oh I’m a bad dog, that is bred to fight
I’m a bad dog that has a strong bite
One of the bad dogs, that is bred to fight
(That has a strong bite)

You may be insecure cuz my breed spreads terror
Instinct's got the best of me, so I'm a bad dog, really
You may be insecure cuz my breed spreads terror
Instinct's got the best of me, so I'm a bad dog, really
A bad dog, really
(You may be insecure)

I’m a pit, vicious to the core and I’m proud of it
Leave me on a chain and I will bark forever, I will go insane
I’m not tame, I chewed the rubber off your tires, I'm to blame
I’m so bad and I don’t give a damn, I win and then you’re glad
Then you’re glad, then you’re glad

I’m a bad dog, a fighting canine
Oh I’m a bad dog, that is bred to fight
I’m a bad dog that has a strong bite
One of the bad dogs, that is bred to fight
(That has a strong bite)

You may be insecure cuz my breed spreads terror
Instinct's got the best of me, so I'm a bad dog, really
You may be insecure cuz my breed spreads terror
Instinct's got the best of me, so I'm a bad dog, really
A bad dog, really
(You may be insecure)

I’m not your typical breed
I’m a bad dog like my trainers taught me
I’m really cool, but sometimes you hate me
I’m a bad dog, but hey- at least I'm not lazy

I’m a bad dog, I’m dangerous
Cross my territory and I may chomp you to death
I’m a bad dog, a fighting canine
Oh I’m a bad dog, that is bred to fight

You may be insecure cuz my breed spreads terror
Instinct's got the best of me, so I'm a bad dog, really
You may be insecure cuz my breed spreads terror
Instinct's got the best of me, so I'm a bad dog, really
A bad dog, really
(You may be insecure)

A bad dog, really
A bad dog, really
A bad dog, really

You and Dennis are on the same track today. Interesting to see this story told from the dog's point of view. I always wonder about these stories I hear of "puppy mills" in which animals are confined to filthy cages and abused. What kind of a market is there for sick, abused animals?
