The Lyrics

This one is for Peter Anderson's One Week Notice competition (Week 20) this time hosted for the first time ever by Jeff Reuben! Of course he picks a Britney Spears song! This one is a tribute to the classic movie: Jumanji! (I filled this one with jungle puns because it's a Jeff Reuben round so I had to!)
Strangely, We've been playing Jumanji
Heard that echoed boom and now it really stinks
Chimps have gone... Ape!
Dealing with some nasty foliage
When we rolled that Flower Power's stinging bits
Knocked our lights... Out...

Game's... So mean...
Our weeds... Increased...
Dumb in... Botany...

Vi-i-ines gonna gro-o-ow... They're insa-a-ane...
Killer sprouts have leaked outside
Vi-i-ines gonna gro-o-ow...
Acid squi-i-irts and it's stunnin' till we're bliiiiiiiiind, Whoa-aoh!

Di-i-ined on our bo-o-ones... Plant buffe-e-et...
Huge mosquitos drink blood brine
Yi-i-ikes! Bats have flo-o-own...
This is wo-o-orse than Backgammon, Hear me whiiiiiiiiine: "Whoa-aoh!"

Strangely, Lions wanna chomp us up!
As their mane course; Lost my Pride when time for lunch!
Hear them roar... Loud!
Dodge that old dude with his old musket
His impressive 'stash and his love for crumpets
Hunts us guys... Down!

Game's... Obscene...
We screamed... "Stampede!"
Smashed ferociously

Hi-i-ide from Hippo-po-pos! Stuffed their fa-a-ace!
Hungry with huge teeth, That bites!
Spi-i-iked by Rhino-no-nos! Got the po-o-oint in the end (of my behiiiiiiiiind), Who-aoh!

Spi-i-iders are gro-o-oss! Need bug spra-a-ay!
Swing a newspaper to fight!
Stri-i-iked by Dumbo-bo-bo but I he-e-erd that they are terrified of miiiiiiiiiiice! (Whoa-aoh!)

Game's... Extreme... (This game's extreme)
We're squeezed... By trees... (We're squeezed by trees)
So revoltingly (So revoltingly, ingly, ingly, ingly--ly-ly-ly-ly-ly-ly-ly)

Dry-y-y till rain flo-o-o-ows, Flood won't dra-a-ain!
These new Crocs don't fit quite right!
Sli-i-ide and I'm so-o-oaked by the dir-ir-irt, Quicksand put me in a bind, Whoa-oah!

I-I-I need a co-o-omb since I'm dra-a-agged
To this Jungle, That's my strife!
I-I-I'll sue these do-o-opes, There's no mir-ir-irth with this fearing for my liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiife, Whoa-oah!

Haven't seen this yet, and the Robin Williams original barely registers a blip in my nostalgia meter. Your parody is lighthearted family-friendly fun, like both, I gather. You you should take pride in the mane puns about lions you incorporated here.

Loved the puns, the crocs line towards the end was my favorite of those! I loved the original movie, haven't seen the new one yet, hopefully that one lives up to it with Karen Gillen and the Rock (both of whom I love). Fun song which does the movie justice!

I'm not koalafied to judge animal puns like this, bear with me as this comment is irrelephant too.

BTW: Fix your intro template - you manage to call it a competition instead of challenge again! ;-)
