| Parody Song Title: | "Bethel College" |
| Parody Written by: | Robert Rasbaugh |
This is a song I put together for our band "Cornerstone" at Bethel College in Mishawaka, Indiana. I originally wrote it for our summer tour to encourage kids to come to Bethel. Here's a tribute to the best college in America!
Where I come from is oh so great
I got a good deal at financial aid
The campus is a beautiful place
And the spiritual growth's absolutely free
I don't go to a boring school
Chasing squirrels all around the trees
Come to a place that ain't so boring
In the heart of Mishawaka
Bethel College
That's where I want to be
Living at Bethel College
Bethel College
Home of Music Ministry Teams
Living at Bethel College
We got students from near and far
We cheer on 18 varsity teams
We got 50 majors or more
And we got chapel 3 times a week
Come get away from Mom and Dad
Think of the opportunities
I'm not real sure if you'll like the food
But next door there's a Burger King
Bethel College
That's where I want to be
Living at Bethel College
Bethel College
Better than a university
Living at Bethel College
The truth is...this is just a glance
I tell you that there's more to it
For some of you it won't be long
No it won't
Till you'll be looking for a school
I tell you Bethel is here to stay
Christ at the helm and in your life
Come watch the Pilots play
Bethel College
That's where I want to be
Living at Bethel College
Bethel College
Come and visit Bethel today!
Visiting Bethel College

I'm not familiar with Bethel College, but that is a polar opposite of Beverly Hills. It sounds like Amish Paradise.
