this is a parody of a little tune from weezer's green album in 2001. it's kind of like a biography of them, of sorts. you have to be a fan in some sense to understand it all.

Too bad "Maladroit" came out after this, huh?
Hah, if I'd actually been one of the fans that had held out over the five year stretch and not died when Green came out, Maladroit would have done me in. That album... eh.
I thought this was going to be a parody about the 1995 Disney film about the soccer team.
