Yeah, I watched Shazam and Isis. I recently got into Jason of Star Command, too.
I was totally confused at first, then I looked up who Sherwood Schwartz is, and it made SOOO much more sense haha. Very interesting idea that was well done (even though I'm not the biggest Radiohead fan...why they're so popular is another thing lost on me).
Lol, because of the name. But I wasn't familiar with the show so I didn't get the topic but still, good work.
(ABC) Not really LOL-funny as you kinda just summarised the two shows, and I also have no idea who this Sherwood guy is, but other than that this was pretty good. 555 reruns!
Sherwood Schwartz was the TV producer who created Gilligan's Island and The Brady Bunch (among other shows). Like other songs from my Kid A project, it was fun to juxtapoze these specific American institutions onto the vague, unsettling lyrics and music of Radiohead. A small part of me wants to follow up with Amnesiac in a similar vein, since that album was recorded at the same time as Kid A. We will see! ;)
(ABC) Love both shows, and I have so much respect and admiration for Sherwood Schwartz. Good summation of two of his biggest successes.
Yeah... I had no idea who it was either. I love Gilligan's Island... Brady Bunch... Meh... Not so much.
All right, so not a Radiohead fan. Had to look up the song and read along -- doesn't look like a fun song to parody, but it fit well. Think my fave line was "Boffs Carol when he can" Very good
Indeed, Claude, much of my Radiohead Kid A/TV sitcoms project is funnier in concept than in execution.
