| Parody Written by: | Yet Another Dutchman |
I've been fantasizing about what would happen if I put my DVD in with the wrong side up. I'm not about to try it, but it probably won't be anything as bad as what I've written about below. Please report any grammar errors or errors otherwise. I think this particular one may contain a lot of 'em.
movie's cheers seem far away
he's waiting like a dumb burk
channel he'll change!
takes a look inside
he says it must be... water!
all the buttons pressing in disgrace
forces his thumb to no avail
they won't do a thing now, they're broken!
when the visual stays away
you'll say "It's okay"
and think up silly excuses
while it's too hard to say
that your brain is simple
trouble's patched up easily
I'm close enough to see it:
use the other side of the DVD
then out comes a screw, sent flying
holding it together with ribbons and I
know the time has come
to move out, oh...
the appliance stirs and shakes
"Die Another Day"
is one of many promises
that you won't maintain
I wish I weren't ireful
but I don't smile easily
when screws plunge into my head
use the other side of the disk...
can you quit it?
leave my things alone
and if you e'er touch it
you won't be walking anymore
when the sparks I blow away
my stuff has been maimed
it's full of scorching shards of grey
'cause explosion took place
the disk-player sizzles
as regards to our movie
it's CUT to pieces, see it
use the other side of the disk
oh, the other side of the disk
use the other side of the DVD
he's waiting like a dumb burk
channel he'll change!
takes a look inside
he says it must be... water!

Most imaginative...far out fantasy trip....If you really did this, maybe it would show the movie backwards...fives
If you DID put a DVD in upside-down, it just wouldn't work. That would just be IT. Okay! All that would happen, is that it would try to read it, bu then wouldn't work, and would probably give up. It may say "DISK READ ERROR" or something.
I say thank you to AFW, thank you to Devil Jones's Younger Cousin, with a little (but friendly) 'duh' at Cousin's comment, because I was just being silly, after all. :-) And what's James Taylor's face doing on a Tunstall parody, editors?
