| Parody Song Title: | "Tinkering" |
| Parody Written by: | John Barnett |
Oh I've been fiddling with my PC again
With the registry editor I must explain
Tinkering there and meddling here
Over there and over here
But oh Lord we pay the price with our
blue screens and malfunctioning device
Ah yeah you leave comp alone
And if you don't know what you're doing
Tinkering will make you phone
And I've been using the control panel now
Using options boxes to change things. Owww!
Tinkering now with things I don't understand
hoping to fix with my own hand
But Oh Lord I'm too lazy
To phone up a decent techie
to fix my comp
No use to stop and think
that if I don't know what I'm doing
tinkering will make it break.
I may not know what I'm doing
May not know your phone no.
May never have wondered
why I tried this out
I've been fiddling with ODBC right now
Trying to make my data sources run
It won't connect, it doesn't read
My database tables and queries. Please!
But ooeee it's a game
Sometimes it works, others not,
The fix is somewhere
And if you don't know what you're doing
Tinkering will make it break
But oh Lord we pay the price with our
blue screens and malfunctioned device
Ah yeah you leave comp alone
And if you don't know what you're doing
Tinkering will make you phone
I keep trying to fix PC
There was no beginning, there is no end.
It wasn't ever working right
I think I might give up the fight.
Ah yeah, you just don't win
It's so screwed up the fix is "bin"
Bow to geek and call him "Sir"
And if you don't know what you're doing
tinkering will make it break.
And if you don't know what you're doing
tinkering will make it break.
And if you don't know what you're doing
tinkering will make it break.
With the registry editor I must explain
Tinkering there and meddling here
Over there and over here
