| Parody Song Title: | "Lower" |
| Parody Written by: | Max Power |
When seeing that I'm guided to another hell
Time and time again
At sunset I fight to stay awake
'Cause I don't want to leave the torment of this place
'Cause there's a hunger, a longing to return
From the life I live when I'm asleep
So let's go there
Let's get us captured
Come on, let's go there
Let's ask can we leave?
Can you take me lower?
To a place where men went blind
Can you take me lower?
To a place with pewter streets
Although I would like our world to stay
It helps me to appreciate
Those nights and those 'mares
But, my friend, I'd kill for all those nights
If I could make the Earth and my 'mares the same
The only difference is
To let hate replace all our love
So let's go there
Let's make our capture
Come on, let's go there
Let's ask can we leave?
Can you take me lower?
To a place where men went blind
Can you take me lower?
To a place with pewter streets
So lets go there, lets go there,
Come on, lets go there
Lets ask can we leave?
Down low I feel like I'm dead for the very first time
Set down low I'm weak enough to lose these dreams
And make them yours
Set down low I'm weak enough to lose these dreams
And make them yours
Can you take me lower?
To a place where men went blind
Can you take me lower?
To a place with pewter streets
Can you take me lower?
To a place where men went blind
Can you take me lower?
To a place with pewter streets
Time and time again
At sunset I fight to stay awake
'Cause I don't want to leave the torment of this place
'Cause there's a hunger, a longing to return
From the life I live when I'm asleep
So let's go there
Let's get us captured
Come on, let's go there
Let's ask can we leave?
Can you take me lower?

Can you take me lower?

I like the imagery you put in this... good stuff...
Dogonnet!!! You beat me to it! I thought of doing a piece much like this one. Only, the chorus would have read: "They will drag you...Lower...to a place where dead souls scream...they will drag you lower still...to a place of scary dreams..."
