One day, when I came home, from Woolworths,
I heard a funny noise.
Went out to the back yard, to find out,
What the hell it was.
Stood there, was my neighbour (called Peter),
With his E-Reg Fiesta.
He said we'd go to 3K,
He took me all of the way.

He said he'd been to the Year 3000,
And not much has changed but the world's all clutter.
And your house is now a gutter...
But never mind.
He took me to the future in his E-Reg, and I saw everything.
Trash-piles, and plague-rats, and bald cats, showered with acid rain.
Street-crap, and people, with green skin, swimming in urine.
He said we're in the 3K,
He took me all of the way.

He said he'd been to the Year 3000,
And not much has changed but the world's all clutter.
And your house is now a gutter...
But never mind.
I took a trip to the year 3000,
