Parody Written by:

The Lyrics

My first attempt at a 404 parody!!!
Search… full stop
You can‘t move any further this way (today)
That’s far enough
There is nothing here that can be displayed (today)
You might think that you can make it further on
but Not Found…

CHORUS
Got an- Error Display
What WAS- is not here today
You’re unable to talk to the server
A Code- 404

The page may well return possibly (someday)
If not, a 301 code
You’ll just have to Search and see
You might think that you can make it
further on
but Not Found…

Got an- Error Display
What WAS- is not here today
You’re unable to talk to the server
A Code- 404

Was Not Found
Forward
Stop! No Go!
Error code
URL was spotty
An Error code
Not located, Error code
URL was spotty, was really spotty
Stop! No Go!

Forward
Stop! No Go!

Got an- Error Display
What WAS- is not here today
You’re unable to talk to the server
A Code- 404

Nothing more annoying than a 404 code, except a 403 which I think is a forbidden access code. Great parody Rob! 555! :-)

Is the 410 Gone code still in use???
WCJ - August 20, 2011 - Report this comment
Yes the 410 is still used, but it means that the page resource is gone, and will never be available again, while a 404 means, that the page resource is gone and might be available again in the future, but sometimes a 404 is used in place of a 410, for a permanent down link. ;-) I found this at Wikipedia. :-)
