I love the sentiment, but this was not done well. Here's a question: Have we, as a group, now written more versions of "Sk8er Boi" than Avril Lavigne has written songs, period? I realize that some songs, especially story-songs, just cry out for it ("American Pie," "A Boy Named Sue," "Hotel California," etc.), I think this one's been done to death, even though I added my own "Failure Boy" to the canon. Maybe this is paranoid conjecture, but even we cannot avoid conjecture. Oops, I did it again. (For God's sake, don't do that one!)
Love the spelling of "Jorji Boi," though! Despite my criticism, I look forward to seeing more of your material.
