DKTOS, interesting though, I don't see many people do parodies from a possible interpretation of the original artist. I am guilty of poking fun at her too(although I'm not an Avril hater). This parody I wrote rubbed some people the wrong way: http://www.amiright.com/parody/2000s/avrillavigne306.shtml Although it wasn't meant to say her song were bad for anybody(it was a genetic related disorder in theme although not mentioned, fortunately it got the ratings it deserved, I wrote it with lyrics alone, making the worst paced parody I had ever wrote).
Sorry, but writing parodies DEFENDING someone is lame. Parodies are meant to poke fun at people. So instead of defending someone you like, make fun of someone you hate. It'll be a much better parody.
After seeing 100s of anti-Avril parodies on Amiright, it's good to see this anecdote parody. I'm giving if 555 for that alone.

Yes...Deryck Whilvey is a loser. and he's ugly, too. I will admit that. But I wrote this because it was the first thing that popped into my head, OK? I'm not trying to defend her at all...just trying to write a decent parody.
443, the verses was good, but it drives you really bad by the reffrain. I'm giving you 4 just as a credit, since this is one of your very first lyrics, it doesn't supposed to be very, very good.

i like avril but her first album had feeling and the seond one had just punk punk punk punk punk songs AAAALLLLLLLL the way.And besides writing a good parody is hard,very hard,so i think the pacing rocked!!! Rock on Leila!!!
