The Lyrics

Wow. I hate this parody. But maybe you like it. I don't know. It's totally opposite to my POV.
I'm standing on a bridge,
Just preparing to jump,
I thought you'd come to stop me by now.
I shed nothing but tears
That I dropped by mistake,
I think that you took all you could take.
Anyone dares contradict me
When I just want to be left alone?
It's a damn old night
Was hoping to give you my life.
Now won't you take all your things and hurt someone new
Don't be surprised, alright?
Well screw you.
Well screw you.
Just needing acceptance
My actions had no relevance.
Does anybody on earth agree?
Coz all could be just fine,
Our life together's a mess
I don't get why I didn't see.
Anyone dares contradict me
When I just want to be left alone?
It's a damn old night
Was hoping to give you my life.
Now won't you take all your things and hurt someone new
Don't be surprised, alright?
Well screw you.
Well screw you.
Why'd it be complicated?
You just f***ed with my life.
It's a damn old night
Was hoping to give you my life.
Now won't you take all your things and hurt someone new.
Don't be surprised, alright?
Well screw you!
Well screw you!
Take your things, go hurt someone you,
Don't be surprised, alright?
Well screw you!
Well screw you.

Answer to your 'Top Comment' query: Not really...would have to listen to OS track to judge pace, but it looks OK from what I recall of the song by memory...pretty bleak and depressing narrative here...a different ending might make it work...maybe a mischievously spiteful but non-lethal act of rebellion or "pay-back" might be a little fun in a "poke-in-the-eye" sort of way...but a change would probably have to have been introduced earlier in the piece to make that happen...maybe just around the half-way point...so to summarize: the next time you have a piece that starts out like this one look for a way to take it in a different direction and then begin moving the story-line towards that around the middle of the piece...then continue to push it towards that destination...then come up with a interesting, perhaps unexpected ending...hmmm...I think "petty revenge" might work in this one...Well, anyway, keep writing and good luck...OH..not voting here...
