Originally, I thought of making a parody of this song, called "Freedom Fighters Love", referring to the Archie comics series of Sonic The Hedgehog, where the first lines went, "He's a hedgehog. She is a squirrel. And they go out to defeat Robotnik." I had trouble thinking of extra lines, and also knew that not many people would know what I was talking about, so I came up with this.
Oh yeah, this is my second parody on Am I Right. :-)
By the way, I just looked at a parody of this song, called "Sandy's Untold Story", and I assure everyone that I did not get my idea from that song.
I'd rather see the Sonic one, personally. *Will review later, if I remember*
Okay...I can't say that the pacing was absolutely perfect...I stumbled a couple of times...but I gave this three 5s because it's the absolute most original parody of this song that I've come across. I've read so many that failed to win me over...that I had to give this one some props...Good job! I'll look forward to reading more of your work...=)
neminem - Hmm... I had a huge writer's block on that Sonic parody I was trying to make, plus, I had to keep going through my comic collection to see if the lyrics were correct. By the way, if you are subscribed to Sonic comics, you can look at my letter in the Sonic-Grams part of issue #134. It's the last one and I didn't sign it with "Your Worst Nightmare". Arwen - Thanks for the 5's! However, the only pacing problem I saw was the part where I was lacking a syllable in "The squirrels planned to attack the town", while the original was "They had a problem with his baggy clothes". Please tell me any other errors I made.
Hey, YWN...going through the song again, I think I may have just been up too late and not able to get it to flow just right. Honestly, that's another reason why I gave it 5s...because I couldn't pinpoint an exact mistake...I just kept getting messed up. I knew that it was entirely possible that my stumbles were my own fault! Don't fret!!
Ok, that's what I thought. ;-) That sorta thing happened to me while writing a parody, and I got the pacing wrong. I revised it before sending it. Right now I'm working on a parody of Hilaru Duff's "Why Not", called "Too Many Video Games". I need to print out the lyrics.
Never mind about printing out the lyrics now. I just heard it on Radio Disney. I've got a major case of writer's block, and I don't think I can finish it. I started on a new parody instead.
And now I finished it! It is a parody of "All Star" by Smash Mouth called "Parody Writer".

Yeah, of course I do! My latest parody is of Weird Al's ORIGINAL song, "Bob", called Sick Day. It isn't nearly as funny as I thought this to be. It is just about some sick guy. If you prefer another gory song like this, I'll see what I can do. ;-)
