Original Song Title:

"Those Were The Days"

Original Performer:

Archie and Edith Bunker

Parody Song Title:

"Those Are The Gays"

Parody Written by:

Michael McVey

The Lyrics

LaSalle and State are streets in downtown Chicago, where there really is a St. Patrick's Day parade
Boy da way Dave Bowie played
Songs for a holiday parade.
They're going to march St. Patrick's Day,
Those are the gays!

And they sure have a fun time when,
Goils do goils and men do men,
They say we could use a Congressman
Like Barney Frank again.

They've had it up to here with hate,
The traffic will just have to wait,
They're marching at LaSalle and State.
Those are the gays!

good song, but just to avoid confusion, lasalle and state run parrelel, they don't intersect, otherwise, a pretty good parody

As Archie himself would say, "Aw, geez..."
