Misheard Song Lyrics -> Stories -> Hardline

Misheard lyrics (also called mondegreens) occur when people misunderstand the lyrics in a song. These are NOT intentional rephrasing of lyrics, which is called parody. For more information about the misheard lyrics available on this site, please read our FAQ.

This page contains a list of the songs that have stories about their misheard lyrics submitted.

Song names are sorted by first letter, excluding A and The. This is sorted by song title only, not by song title and performer. So if two different performers preformed the same song, you'll see misheard lyrics for both on the same page (provided the song title was spelt the same both times, and misheard lyrics have been submitted for both!).

Double Eclipse album at
Hardline's, "Can't Find My Way"
The Misheard Lyrics:
Without you, I can find my way.
Without you, can find my way.
Without you, can't find my way.
The Real Lyrics:
Without you, I can't find my way.
The Story: There are 3 misheard options to make me confuse like this. About this song: Previously, I've heard Johnny Gioeli before in a cover of Uriah Heep's "July Morning", which was covered by Johnny Gioeli's outfit, the German rock band, Axel Rudi Pell, in 2000. Now, Johnny Gioeli sing this song in 1992 and found on their album 'Double Eclipse'. The success of this song is very limited. Because, Grunge, hip hop, dance-pop, modern pop, and local pop keep topping on Billboard's Pop Chart were commercial AOR, slow rock, hard rock, heavy metal, pop metal, alternative pop, and indie bands in the lower reaches of Billboard's Pop Chart at all. - Submitted by: Wisnu Aji
