Fought with kitchen knives and Skewers.
Dressed me up in Women's Clothes,
Messed around with generals
Fought with kitchen knives and Skewers.
Dressed me up in Women's Clothes,
Messed around with gender roles
"Laid"
Fought with kitten eyes and sexy words
Fought with kitchen knives and skewers

Now your grips too strong
You can't catch love with a net or gun.

You can't catch love with a net or a gun.
I don't know whether he knew the lyric was misheard this way or if it was just a coincidence, but after this song was released the lead singer of James (Tim Booth) often came on stage wearing a bright yellow anorak.
