Story about this misheard lyric by: Elsie Greer I was listening to this on the "Mamma Mia!" soundtrack CD, and the above mishearing is exactly how I heard the line. I knew that the way I heard it seemed to make little sense, but I thought that the part about "not too old for sex" was especially ludicrous as a mishearing. It is essentially a "nice" movie, and I thought surely such an overt reference to sex, wouldn't be in the song. But when I found the actual lyrics online and resolved the matter, surprise -- "not too old for sex" was the one part I'd heard correctly! |
