Band Name Origins:
- The Houstonians named the band after a rollercoaster at Astroworld theme park across from the Astrodome. Astroworld closed down since. Submitted by: Mark
- DF was named after a roller coaster the band members used to ride as kids. There is a photograph of the roller coaster on the cover of the band's first album, "Life of Saturdays". (Unfortunately, the coaster was closed down.) Submitted by: Elfee
