Why They're Inappropriate:
The nursery rhyme is about the Black Death - Bubonic plague (rosy cheeks being a sympton of the plague, posies were scented sachets of herbs thought to help ward off the plague, ashes to ashes refers to the funerals and cremations etc) fits better than such a rhyme being for kids really.
