"Funny" can have various meanings, including a meaning of having something amiss, without exactly being dead-on humorous. Dreaming of the place in question, or loving the place in question? No answer can be determined from these lyrics alone. They are utterly ambiguous in that regard.

Gee, this cracks me up every time I hear it. It never fails to make me think of the kind of 'lose my control' that she might mean if she got a wicked case of diarrhea. I can't help laughing; I just find diarrhea so hilarious! Folks have thought me cruel for laughing at diarrhea when others got it. But maybe they would understand differently if they knew that I laugh at my own diarrhea as well!
