Image Parodies -> Album Covers -> C -> Coldplay - A Head Full Of Dreams

Albums aren't only known for their artwork, they can also be well known for an iconic piece of artwork that adorns the cover. Here at amIright, we're not content with parodying just the music and lyrics of songs, we need the whole package! So we've begun replacing the artwork on the various artist summary pages with new album covers submitted by visitors to the site.

The first image on the page is for Coldplay - A Head Full Of Dreams, followed by the original. Also check out the most recent parody covers submitted to the site.

Thanx, but no thanx .... Quoting a scene from "Up In Smoke": Chong - "You just ate the most acid I've ever seen anybody eat in my life!," Cheech - "Hey, Man, I've never had no acid before, man." Chong - "Jeez, I hope your'e not busy for about a month..." Cheech - "Hey I've seen those guys walking around my neighborhood that took too much acid, man.The one guy, his head swelled up like a pumpkin..."

Holy crud. How did you DO that? Did you use a GIF? I didn't think the submission form accepted them. If they do, I may have to try that sometime! (Try using a GIF for an album spoof, I mean, not trying acid. :) )

Anyway, I'm giving this 5's both for being entertaining AND for being Amiright's very first animated album cover parody!

Um, no, this isn't quite the first animated album cover parody on here. That would be (so far as I know) this one, which I submitted years ago under a different alias:
http://www.amiright.com/photoshops/a/art-of-noise-art-of-noisemax-headroomparanoimia12-1387191310.shtml

Then there's these:

More recently, I also submitted an animated PNG, though you have to have the right kind of browser to see any of its frames past the first one:

Making animated images in general isn't that difficult if you know how. The tricky part of making animated cover parodies for this site is that you have to keep the file size of your finished product under 2 megabytes, or else the system will automatically reject your submission. That's why this GIF, which originally had 256 frames, now has only 13. Likewise, my animated Star Wars PNG originally had a resolution of 1500X1500, was 100 frames long, and took up more than 44 megabytes of space. Best wishes to you if you want to submit any animated images here, but you'll have to make the same kinds of compromises I did to get the site to accept them.
