I still think of DDR as the Deutsche Democratik Republic (the former East Germany), so I got kind of confused ;-) I'd agree with the Skuz, that this is better than the original.

Tough song to tackle but you did a pretty bang up job of it. I wouldn't say this is your best recording (That title still belongs to "That's My Cooking") but it's up there.

Idea: 9 - DDR is probably an uncharted territory topic on Amiright. Only reason I don't give you a 10 is it isn't universally known.
Lyrics/humor: 8 - Having played DDR (and seen you play it), I quite enjoyed this
Singing: 8 - You opened up on this one, Dave. On time, in key, volume varies with TOS, and the spoken part was on, too.
Backing track: 10 - They don't get any better than this.
Production/mixing: 8 - I got some static in spots, though that might be on my end with my sound settings.
Sound Effects/Bites: n/a, thought the minimal backing vocals were good.
Video: n/a, though making one shouldn't be a stretch - just film you playing DDR, lol.
Overall: 8 - Not sure what I gave you for "That's My Cooking", but this is really solid and would be great to *try* to dance to on DDR. =)

Definitely enjoyed hearing this on the Top 100 countdown. Very good recording, and the lyrics were good as well.
