"That's My Cooking" by Below Average Dave" a parody of "That's Amore" by Dean Martin
The song was originally written for a contest some two months ago. I came across this great website called Karaoke Version(karaoke-version.com/en/) that makes backing tracks. The track in this song is being used with their permission. Check them out for great backing tracks like the one in this song.

That was worth the 3 bucks, you're starting to sound more and more like Robert Lund and Rick Cormier (Two of the best on Amiright) everyday now. (Hey Dave, think I brown nosed them enough for them to record one of my songs too ;) )
Idea: 9 - Great idea, universally relateable topic.
Lyrics/humor: 8 - Solid throughout, though the cameo by Weird Al seemed out of place. Brought a smile to my face.
Singing: 8 - Very good, sounds close to the original. There seems to be a bit of volume drop off from the beginning of the song to the end though.
Backing track: 9 - Real backing tracks make a real difference. 'nuff said.
Production/mixing: 8 - Could just about go onto an album as-is, which is quite impressive given the use of free software
Sound effects/bites: 8 - Added humor to the song and the backing vocals were well done.
Video: n/a

One of your best so far, IMO - seems like the first POTM when I haven't said I preferred one of your other recordings :-) Backing vocals worked well.

I'm just glad that my contest made you create this song, and to think Cat almost won that round.... Man, people must really love the feline if she was about to beat something this amazing.
Remind me to bring takeout if I ever make it down to visit! The background track does make a big difference, but the song would be hilarious either way.
