Ah...good to catch an old favorite again!
One of my favorite songs about something I deal with on a daily basis! Great background tracks, and loved the singing voice!
One of my favorite of yours, simply because I could be the character you're dealing with in this parody. I am a very computer illiterate person. The only problem I had with this was the background voices not being part of the parody, but other than that great work here
I heard this parody recording before I knew what Amiright was. I was so impressed with it, I played it for a number of my friends. Then I listened to more of your recordings and, somewhere in the body of your work at the time, you mentioned Amiright. Thanks for that, Phil :-) I love the accents and the frustration in your voice as you sang. The angst comes through loud and clear. The backing track is lively and fun and, I like the addition of the bass-voiced guy. One of my favorites of yours! Why? "Cause I'm unable to plug in a cable. Do it for me?"
:-D
Jeff- I think that one of the reasons this has done so well (I found out that a friend's son has it as a ringtone, and it's been going around school, too... I hope that doesn't catch on with some of my other recordings), is that a lot of people can relate to it - from both sides of the divide, evidently :-) Matthias - couldn't do anything about the voices in the background when I recorded this: it was a karaoke MP3, and I couldn't find another of even close to similar quality. I just tried to drown 'em out.
Rick - the "bass-voiced guy" is me, too... did I really draw you into amright? If that's the case, well done me :-)

A pretty high quality effort here, Phil. i LOVE the OS so any parody of it that ends up as a recording is going to grab my attention. Well done
I assumed the bass-voiced guy was you, Phil.
Yes, what I wrote is true. I was looking for humorous songs on the internet and, stumbled onto SoundClick. I'm not sure exactly how I ended up at Amiright but, it was either from your mentioning the site or, from my typing your name into Google to see what other works I could find by you. In any case, I did know your name and, I did hear "Mend My PC" before I ever found Amiright.
