Great recording Rick Cormier, really helped me vote for SOTM

Just lovely, Rick. I had a little trouble making out some of the lyrics - maybe bringing the lead vocal further forward with a bit less echo would solve that? The only reason I can justify nitpicking is because this recording is otherwise GRRREAT.

Thanks for the compliment Charnstar but, please don't let a recorded interpretation of a parody influence your voting decision in SOTM. The parodies should be judged on their writing, not their singing. There are some this month that kick this one's ass, IMO. Spaff, you're absolutely right. Often, when I post a recording, it undergoes constant change for a week or so after its' debut. I find flaws and correct them until I'm satisfied (which is sometimes never). When I edit them, I'm doing it with headphones and, often, what seems crystal clear with phones, is not so clear when heard over speakers. Unfortunately, I can't do it any other way at the moment. I did bring the lead vocal out more and updated the recording on SoundClick again this morning. Thanks for the critique. I will always value your opinion.

I just love love love this Rick. Now that I've entered the surreal world of parody recording artistes, I appreciate how hard it is to do well. And this, sir, has been done very very well. Bravo

One of my favorite titles for songs on amiright, and I love listening to the recording. I'm going to assume you've made your changes since Spaff's comment, because I thought the output levels sounded great. I also know exactly what you mean about listening through headphones vs speakers. Anyway, I thought you did a great job both writing and performing!

One of my favorite parodies and recordings on Amiright!!! If this doesn't win then there has to be something wrong with the voting scale because this song is my personal favorite, because it's one of the best I've ever read.
