Oct 18 "The Conductor's 12 Day Christmas Nightmare" by David W Solomons" a parody of "The 12 days of Christmas" by Traditional
The choir usually sings in procession without a glitch, but these are a few things that could go wrong during the Christmas festivities. Enjoy the choral effect! TopTempo: (mp3)

Truly fabuloso! Quite the riot. Love the interplay between the different voices. Not sure my ear likes all the disharmonics, but it sure adds to the quality of the final effect. Very impressed with the varying soloist parts. Inspired and professional.

Thanks Tim, Glad you like it. I ony just found this site a couple of days ago and I'm enjoying listening to some of the other parodies, including your great ones of course :-) I've done a couple of other parodies, which I may dig up later.

David, I listened to this, as well as a number of your other recordings. I must admit, I was floored; not only by the quality of your work but, by the fact that it must have taken hours to lay down so many tracks yourself. I do multitracking as well and, I know how tedious it can become at times. Keep up the good work. You can find my stuff around here under Rick Cormier. I'm a self taught hack but, I have a good ear.

Thanks Rick :-) I have heard a few of yours too and will certainly be coming back for more. Yes, multitracking can take a long time, but over the years I've worked out some useful shortcuts (aside from simply trying not to make mistakes of course!). 20 years ago it was a different story, I was multitracking with two separate stereo systems in two different rooms (on audio cassette) and ran from room to room for each track's start! It was good exercise but the final result tended to be a bit flatter than the original LOL! (and the neighbours were probably very confused at what was coming through their floor!) Thank goodness for multitrack software and headphones!
