I guess if you want to analyze other people's lifestyles, you should probably have somewhat of idea what you're talking about. I guess if the purpose of this song was to show how pathetic and intolerant some people are of other groups, it succeeded very well. Otherwise this song is horrible. there is a huge difference between those who like emo and emo kids.. that song is about emo kids, kids that act the part for the attention and probably have good lives. emo music is good, and some "normal" people listen to it, but the truth is is that those people haven't dealt with life and it's problems, and if you want to dress like you feel inside thats fine, just don't play in to the emo kid dogma. life doesn't suck, so there's no reason to be depressed all the time, so don't be an emo kid under one mindset.

Not taken too seriously, this song is hilarious. I've been called Goth a thousand times, I consider myself emo-y. (even though I don't really do anything at all you mentioned in your song? but whatever...)But still, the first time I heard this song (on MyspaceMusic, playing over some other bands music on their site) I was clutching my sides, gasping for air laughing. alright - id like to analize this song. not all emos are gay. many of them are really hot. people that run around saying that they're emo AREN'T emo. those are what we call posers. emos DONT LOOK LIKE CLONES because anything that you find at thrift stores is usually a one of a kind deal. the reason why they shop at the thrift stores is because not everyone is a spoiled brat and gets to have anything and everything they want, and - once again - emos aren't clones and dont feel like conforming to the wants of common society. the reason why emos are suicidal is obviously because something tragic happened in their life, and the fact that everyone makes fun of them all the time doesn't help. another thing - you people need to stop hating what you dont know. just because you people are probably either preps or posers doesnt mean i immediately hate you, but your little comments are leading me towards some conclusions. some people might consider me emo, and i say that because they yell such things at me, but im hardly any of what this song says emos are. i am aware that this song is just joking around, and i may only be a 12 year old girl, but i think you people could be a little bigger in this situation.
