I thought about the late actor Bob Denver the other night and ended up writing a parody about "Gilligan's Island". Well, he was funny on that playing silly Gilliganbut he was really, really good in his earlier sitcom role as "Maynard G. Krebs", Dobie's "Beatnik" friend on "(The Many Loves of) Dobie Gillis" TV show.

Thanks, all...Chuck, it would be worthwhile...I don't know if the show is shown in syndication anywhere now...it ought to be, it was really pretty good, although it might seem dated today....carol...they only gave me "1's" in pacing (although the pacing was perfect to my POV...they were generous enough to give me "2's" in the other categories...maybe they didnt/don't like 'beatniks'...or Bob Denver....??? what could anybody have against Bob Denver? Hmm...maybe they just don't like me....hmmm...it's possible...lol
