| Parody Song Title: | "How Many More Days Till Vacation?!" |
| Parody Written by: | Starlette Victory |
Along with the impending Christmas season comes the annual parody complaining about midterms, which my teachers have already started harassing--oops, I mean *preparing* us for. :-)
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Ev'rywhere you go;
The dreaded third six weeks begins, haunting us once again
With cramming brains and mental strains--oh no!!
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas,
Study guides galore,
The most sickening sight to see is the homework they give me
And there's always more!
Physics grade not to fall and no Pre-Cal at all
Are the prayers of Barney and Ben;
A couple free days, finished final essays
Are the hopes of Janice and Jen;
And everyone can hardly wait for school to finally end.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Ev'rywhere you go;
We are studying day and night, nothing is going right,
And every day each of us prays for snow.
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas;
Soon midterms will start,
And we're filled not with festive cheer, but a brooding and desperate fear
Resides in our hearts.
Ev'rywhere you go;
The dreaded third six weeks begins, haunting us once again
With cramming brains and mental strains--oh no!!

Resides in our hearts.

Heh. My final essay is certainly what I wish for right now... as for a couple free days, I just had them. Stupid family Thanksgiving, I was so planning on starting my research paper already :).
P.S. I finally submitted another parody (why I'm on this site right now, in fact). Take a look if you want!
