The Lyrics

Smile!
To all you Christians reading this
new song i wrote today.
I'm really not the AntiChrist
like some of you will say.
In fact I only used this Hymn
cause the music fits ok !

{Chorus}
Oh i am really not a naughty boy! not a bad Boy!
No. i am really not a very naughty boy

It seems I write my best at night
While everyones away
As long as it comes out all right
Thats how its gonna stay.
So i set here beneath the light
while you get drunk and play

{Chorus}
I plan on writing Songs for years
I've barely started hey!
It seems that I dont do too bad
now how to make it pay?
Maybe someone reading here
Will buy a few today!

{Chorus}
I sing along while I write the words
as the original music plays
sometimes I have to fudge a bit
to get what I want to say.
Your probably wondering how it fits
or how I did 4 today!

{Chorus}
and if you think you gonna write
something better then mine
You better hope your mind and wits
Are tuned and working fine
I am an excellent lyricist
I know your sure to find

{Chorus}
And so I say good luck my freind
its now your turn to play
I'd like to see you turn in 4
Good tunes by the end of today
And not some mindless rambling
lets make it Fair ok?

{Chorus}
And now i've hit the final verse
the glove has been thrown down
I want to see you top my wit
Or just hand me the Crown
I'm sure your songs will be much worse
Lets see you put me Down!

{Chorus}

I don't get it Gary. This isn't American Idol. We just like having fun with lyrics. In addition, you're insulting some of the very people you say you want help from. You don't know who any of us are, or what our backgrounds might be. I don't normally do this - however, I'll match my 35 songs on the radio - all in major markets against your "wrote 4 songs today". I'll match my two bands at Warner Brothers against yours. And how's YOUR music publisher doing? And that's just me. I happen to know another fellow here who had a song on Dr. Demento's Top 10. How many have YOU had? Now, shut up, and enjoy the ride, or there ain't nobody gonna help you. By the way, I did vote you 5's today on another song you did, so take heart.

i really just write for the fun of it, and if irritating someone is the result, hey thats just as much fun. i never touched a key to write anything before last week. actually i dont care one way or another. Ya know one of my inventions is sold every day in hardware stores nationwide, and i didnt make a dime there either. My next song could be something cool like 99 Dead Raccoons, or how about We Wish You a Dose of Syphillis. heck i dont know. i really dont like this commentary section anyway. heck if i make everyone so mad they give me all 1s I find that as exciting as all 5s. Thanks though for voting one of mine up, however. My Picture is getting a few laughs at karaoke here, is about as far as any of this will ever go. If you stopped today, in 6 months nobody on here would know your name. It just an interesting Diversion. I have already received about all i expect from this. So if what i send next makes you so mad you scream and throw things, dude thats the whole idea. heck man that song kick me out of the ball park could have made a ton of money the week it happened, now its worthless. another url in a sea of them, posted on a free site. its nothing personal i dont know anyone in here and never will. there is an ocean of this stuff everywhere. I expect nothing and that way i am not dissapointed. what can ya do, the rich will continue to get rich and the rest of us will work. Oh yeah i have a bad attitude. and probably not gonna get better.

Okay, Gary, I think I get it. You're right that in six months no one here will remember me or anything I've written. But not every good idea was meant to reap a financial reward, and not every acquaintance you make is going to become a lifelong friend. We live in a very disposable and transient society. But I find that you enjoy what you're doing regardless of the compensation, and you try to be a blessing to those around you for whatever time you have together. Sermon's over, you can wake up now.

Well Gentlemen, Ladies. Tonight i reviewed all my posted songs, and submitted all the corrected versions, so most of what i have sent will be deleted tomorrow. I will redo this one completely, as i do have to agree almost completely with advice given. Seems most of what i wrote got off topic and rude, somewhere near the bottom, and i am sure everyone will like the repaired versions better, and i wish i hadnt Posted some of them they way they were at all. But try, try again, i guess, maybe someday i will get some right on the first pass. I didnt change Ballpark, or a couple others, however. Thaks again, cya soon Gary
