The Lyrics

This song is about a guy who crashes his car on Interstate 287 while returning from Christmas Eve festivities in New York.
Stuck out on the freeway, just left here for dead
I don't know what the heck's going through my head
The schmucks in their cars just don't see where I lay
Just lying out here on a Jersey freeway
The cop cars are stopping, and EMS, too
If I don't get out of here, I sure will be screwed
But I'm in good hands now, really the best care
Just take me to Morristown for some treatment there
