Yes indeed yesterday was a sad day for the entertainment industry, although I was hit a lot more by the death of Michael Jackson than anyone else, I mean that guy seemed to be invincible.

Very sweet Mark--I was already in a bad mood when MJ's news came along because earlier in the day, Farrah's death had hit me. I grew up in the 80's and early 90's, I've seen most the Charlie Angel's episodes, her contributions to women's rights cannot and should not be diminished, and it's good that you were able to quickly come up with a tribute for such a deserving woman. . .RIP Farrah

I'm glad somebody on this site wrote a Farrah tribute. All the Jacko coverage wiped it out. But I did turn to CNN and I saw Larry King getting a phone call from Cher (yes, that one), talking about what a wonderful person Farrah was. Cher actually said she was jealous of how beautiful Farrah was, if you can believe that. I wasn't a fan of hers -- Jaclyn Smith was my favorite "Angel" until the new version with Drew Barrymore -- but she deserves better than to be forgotten in the span of two hours. I guess it's a good thing no one else famous died when Elvis did or when John Lennon was shot, although Aldous Huxley and C.S. Lewis both died the day JFK was killed.

First Ed McMahon...then Michael Jackson...now Farrah Fawcett! I can't believe all those great icons had to leave this world! R.I.P Farrah Fawcett! She will also be missed! As you've said, Farrah will always be everyone's special angel! You chose a perfect song to write her tribute from. I will be dressing in black all week mourning for not only MJ, but also for Farrah and Ed. Been reading lots of parody tributes for today and all seem to be touching! Beautiful tribute, and yes, it is unfortunate that both Farrah and Michael died that day. Especially since the importance of Farrah's death was shown by media to a lesser extent than Michael's. But what if their funerals were on the same day? Drama! 555.
