| Parody Song Title: | "Carol of the Coyotes" |
| Parody Written by: | 2Eagle |
Full moon tonight, makes Christmas bright
Soft desert breeze, rustles the trees
Stars all aglow, enhance the show
Greet the new year, springtime is near
Howl, howl, howl, howl, out on the prowl
(male treble voices: howl, howl, howl, howl, howl, howl, howl, howl -)
Sharks of the land, run through the sand
(Howl, howl, howl, howl, howl, howl, howl, howl)
Strange wassailing, bad news they bring
Filling the air, carolers beware
So loud and shrill, looking for kill
Santa, they're near, guard your reindeer
Boldly they sing, strange caroling
Interrupting, as people sing -
Fa, la, la la, la, la, la, la,
(Ah rooooooooooooooooooooooooo)
Fa, la, la, la, la, la, la, la,
(Ah rooooooooooooooooooooooooo)
On chinook wind, goes raucous din
Their siren songs, the whole night long
Shatter the quiet, warm balmy night
Hark! Stay away, you might be prey
Carolers abound, stroll through the town
Primevil cries, don't harmonize
Roo, roo, roo, roo, they might eat you
(Roo, roo, roo, roo, roo, roo, roo, roo -)
Dissonant ring, accompaning
(Roo, roo, roo, roo, roo, roo, roo, roo)
Here come the packs, must watch your backs
They're in your face, run to your place
Throw out the ham, fruitcake be dammed
Latch all the doors, they're back for more!
Their eerie calls, go through the walls
Ear splitting, and deafening
Watch out, you may be their Christmas dinner
(Ah rooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo)
Watch out, you may be their Christmas dinner!
(Ah rooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo)
On through the sand, sharks of the land
Swift on their feet, who will they eat?
Ah roooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Soft desert breeze, rustles the trees
Stars all aglow, enhance the show

Good job, now in compliance with the equal time rule..you should do, "The Carol of the Roadrunner"
Thank you, AFW. If you live in the Southwest and were ever awakened by a howling coyote you would know what I mean.
555 for this unusual Xmas carol. The coyotes here in norCAL will come quite close to people, and have a most mournful wail at night!
This would be hilarious as a performance, very good song parody choice, not most people's first choice for a Christmas parody due to it's difficulty, but you did a good job on it.
I agree with BAD
