I've seen my share of anime in my life. Most of what I've seen is English dubbed here in the U.S. Some of the dubbed anime is good, some of it isn't. One particular show called "Duel Masters" is an ear burning example of the latter. The English voice-over dialogue is more corny and cliched than the old Godzilla movies. It's so bad that I think we owe the Japanese an apology. Since I can't speak for the dubbing studios, this parody will have to do.
Close your eyes; it will burn you
It sure will disgust you;
It's a shlock of the art you do.
If you don't look away,
Then I promise you dismay
And you'll hate all our dubbing you view.

I'll admit that we're pissing
On the anime that's gliss'ning,
And tearing up the work that you do.
And so maybe some day
We'll mend our shallow ways
And correct all the dubbing we do.

All our dubbing will enrage you
All our dubbing does misconstrue.
