Roger Ebert's scathing review of "Night of the Living Dead", reprinted in Reader's Digest probably had a lot to do with promoting the film's success. Everybody wanted to make a low-budget zombie film and score big with it. I got involved in a couple of these with a Kansas City producer named Todd Sheets. Wonder where he is now.
Not a big Zombie fan, but Romero's work and AMC's TV series are tops!
