The Lyrics
Who can ever forget rich, short-statured Quincy Magoo who refuses to deal with his nearsightedness? His stubborn willfulness gets him into trouble about town, but somehow things always seem to work out, Magoo no worse for the wear. He constantly is wondering what his nephew Waldo and Presley are up to and gives his houseboy Cholly (sterotypical Chinese) a bad time. But Magoo has a good heart, even if he is unwilling to get help. A loveable character from UPA Animation since the late '40s. Voiced by Jim Backus.

One of my earliest TV memories was the Mr. Magoo version of "A Christmas Carol."
What POP said! That was my favoritist Christmas show ever! I know I watched 'regular' Mr. Magoo every once in awhile, but cannot really recall it.
