The Lyrics

Everyone knows this story of December 7, 1941... The Mitsubishi A6M was one of the best warplanes of WW2 but was later outclassed by more powerful and faster, more heavily-armed USAAF and USN aircraft that took back the Pacific. Little modifications were made on the basic type, the IJN just adding more fighters and interceptors to their inventory. In the end, the Zero was the most numerous Kamikaze aircraft and not the rocket-powered Ohka carried by Betty bombers... a tragic end to so fine a machine!!!
