The Lyrics

The SR-71 is one of the most amzing combat aircraft in history, derived from the original A-12. It was the fastest claimed combat aircraft in history operating at speculated 80-120,000 ft flying at Mach 3.2-3.4. At Mach 3.5 the engine inlets would begin to deform and engine damage would occur. The rival MiG-25 Foxbat was also claimed for Mach 3 flight, but Soviet pilots were instructed not to exceed Mach 2.8 for safety reasons. One MiG-25 DID reach Mach 3.2 on a recon run, but damaged both engines. The Blackbird was known as the Habu since it was based in Japan. Habu is the name of a black asp in Japan and the nickname stuck. All the Drivers at Beale AFB called it Habu- I remember that from personal experience. Although the SR-71 was retired and claimed to have been replaced by spy sat technology, that is false. Other blackcraft were spotted by AW&ST over the North Sea- what was believed to be the wedge-shaped hydrogen powered Aurora and also the photos emerged of donuts-on-a-rope contrails from PDW (Pulse Detonation Wave) engines. Later, black triangles have been spotted all over the world. The UK denied the golden HALO unmanned triangle until the 2000s and then admitted it, but released no photos nor information. Two German blackcraft were spotted at the Overberg Test Range in RSA in 1990 as well (Germany had a F-117 rival in the MBB Lampyridae of 1981-89). And now there is a claim that the TR-2B ASTRA is the replacement. An exotic craft reportedly costing $3 billion each, it is made of boron and exotic materials, is triangular, and operates off a MFD and mass-reduction system together with 3x Teledyne rockets for maneuvering...
Mach 3.2 in a Habu
“Drivers” wearin’ spacesuits

Supersonic bullet at high-altitude
Stratospheric flyin’
The USAF always denyin’

SR-71 Blackbird, recon bandit
Celestial guidance, side-scanning’ cameras
USSR could never touch it
Missiles too slow to shoot it down

Mach 3.2 in a Habu
“Drivers” wearin’ spacesuits
No enemy pursuits…

They could see you
They could see you
They could see you
Near their borders, they knew
Turbo-ramjets, glowing white hot
Black star streaking across the sky
Fastest combat aircraft ever flew*

Foxbat could never touch that
Mach 3.2 in a Habu
“Drivers” wearin’ spacesuits
(replaced by spy satellites never true)

*SR-71 replaced by triangular blackcraft with MFD propulsion and mass-reduction system- operates as LEO weapons and recon platform. Either controlled by US Space Command or NRO or X-organization, who knows??? Possibly the TR-3B ASTRA or whatever Aurora was or IS at this point…

Went to the air show at Whiteman AFB in Missouri last year. Saw 3 or 4 B-2's in the air at the same time, and one up close, with a rope and a lot of guys carrying M-16's. Too bad they made so few of them, there won't be enough for all the museums that are going to want one, just like the Space Shuttles. From looking at the signs around the base, there are nearly as many B-2 squadrons as there are B-2's. Exotic planes with advanced propulsion systems are cool. Now we need to come up with a cost effective way of fighting illiterate savages armed with rifles and homemade bombs. These seem to be the primary threat facing our country.

... plus China and nuclear proliferation. Russoa is still a credible threat due to the size of their nuclear arsenal too!!!
